Monticello Tables
Here is a set of tables made from the Monticello Tulip Poplar II. They are at the Monticello Catalog Sales center, and to order one you may contact them at 800.243.1743 or contact them through www.monticelloshop.org.
Each table has a top of Monticello Tulip Poplar II, and a base of black walnut. Each is 17 1/2" tall, except as noted. The finish is a conversion varnish, very tough and durable.

This top is straight off the saw log.
The original chainsaw cuts form the long sides, and it has been belt
sanded smooth on both sides,
following the undulations of the
natural plank. The skirt has been carefullyshaped to fit the curves
of the top.
